Mr. Maroof is the Chief Financial Officer for Monarch. Prior to joining Monarch in 2007, Mr. Maroof was the Chief Financial Officer at Duma Capital Partners, L.P., a multi-strategy hedge fund where he was responsible for all financial and operational matters, and a Controller at Och-Ziff Capital Management where he was responsible for various accounting and operational functions related to Och-Ziff’s distressed debt activities. Previously, Mr. Maroof was a manager in the Investment Management practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he conducted audits of several mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity funds. Mr. Maroof graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Accounting.
