Chris Santana

Co-Chief Executive Officer, Co-Chief Investment Officer

Chris Santana is Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Monarch, where he oversees the Firm’s vision, strategy, and operations. In his CIO capacity, he leads the Investment team, portfolio strategy, and strategic direction across Monarch’s corporate credit and real estate platforms. Mr. Santana serves on the Investment Committee for each of Monarch’s strategies, in addition to being a member of the Firm’s Partnership Committee and Operational Executive Committee. Prior to founding Monarch in 2002, Mr. Santana was a Vice President at Lazard, where he was the Head Trader of the Lazard Debt Recovery Funds. Mr. Santana graduated from Amherst College with a B.A. in Economics and Spanish.
