Karan Malhotra

Managing Principal, Head of Structured Credit Trading

Karan Malhotra is a Managing Principal and Head of Structured Credit Trading, focused on our structured credit strategies. He joined Monarch in 2023 from Marathon Asset Management, where he was a Director in the Structured Credit Group. Prior thereto, Karan was at Ares Management as a Vice President. Karan serves on the board of certain entities related to investments in U.S. real estate. He graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Economics, in addition to receiving a Graduate Certificate in Quantitative Finance from Stanford University.
